Français I
French I is a one-year elective course. Students work with a textbook and a workbook. Core components include reading, writing, listening, and speaking basic French as well as discussion of Francophone cultures. At the end of this course students should be able to discuss likes, dislikes, preferences, family, classes, daily activities, basic conversational topics, talk about weather, and tell time. They should be able to discuss these topics in basic present and future tenses.
Français II
French II is a one-year elective course. Students work with handouts and packets. Core components include reading, writing, listening, and speaking basic French as well as discussion of Francophone cultures. At the end of this course students should be able to discuss foods, drinks, shopping, clothing, household chores, transportation, and vacation. They should be able to discuss these topics in basic present, past (passé composé) and future tenses.
Français III

Core components include reading, writing, listening, and speaking basic French as well as discussion of Francophone cultures. At the end of this course students should be able to discuss meals, cooking, school, computers, technology, childhood pastimes, exercise, the environment, and health. They should be able to discuss these topics in two different past tenses, present, future, and conditional tenses.
